Vygard. So no-one works alone.
Vygard is a lone-worker safety platform. Your staff carry a phone app with SOS, fall detection and check-ins. The moment something's wrong — a panic press, a missed check-in, a man-down — Vygard escalates to the right person in seconds, with the worker's live location, and logs every step for your HSE/CQC audit. Howie, our AI watcher, adds a second pair of eyes on every shift.
12 sector packs from care to ATEX oil & gas, with custom packs in ~6 weeks.
The moments a lone worker most needs help — a fall, a collapse, being knocked out — are the ones where they can't reach for a button. So Vygard doesn't wait to be pressed.
Only works if the worker is conscious, able and remembers to reach it. In a real emergency that's often exactly what they can't do.
Fall, no-movement and man-down detection run in the background, and a missed check-in escalates itself. The alarm goes up even if they never touch the phone.
A worker fires an SOS, a fall is detected, or a check-in is missed — from the phone, the watch, or automatically.
Vygard alerts the right person in seconds — supervisor, on-call manager, then ARC/999 — with the worker's live location, until someone acknowledges.
Every step is timestamped and audit-logged, ready to export for HSE, CQC or your insurer. Nothing reconstructed from memory.
Watch what happens the moment something goes wrong on the phone. An SOS press — or an automatic fall / no-movement detection — starts a countdown; if it isn't cancelled, the alert escalates through the worker's contacts to a 24/7 monitoring centre, with their live location attached and every step logged for the audit trail.
Live SOS cascade — recorded in-app.
From a lone forester to a night-shift guard to a runner on the fells — the same SOS, man-down and check-in cover, wherever the work happens.

A second pair of eyes on every shift, every minute. Claude reads the live telemetry, asks workers if they're OK before they have to ask for help, catches the PPE checks that didn't happen, and the moment SOS fires composes a dispatcher briefing that requires a human to read, action and confirm welfare before the incident can close.
Claude writes it the moment SOS fires
When a worker fires SOS, the watcher composes a structured briefing in seconds: situation summary, single recommended next action, priority-ordered call list, evidence to preserve. The dispatcher must tick three audit-stamped boxes — read, actioned, welfare confirmed — before the incident can close.
Catches the checks that didn't happen
Workers who clock on without the pre-shift PPE selfie get flagged. Training certs, SCBA face-fits, SIA licences and driver-CPC all monitored — the watcher knows that a petro PPE gap is critical (ATEX legal exposure) while a retail PPE gap is low. Sector-aware severity baked into the prompt.
Asks workers if they're OK before they have to ask
Every 60 seconds, Claude scans each worker's recent state and decides — conservatively — whether to send an unprompted welfare ping. Worker taps 'Yes, I'm OK' or 'Need help'. No ack within N minutes auto-escalates into the standard missed-check-in cascade.
Forests, farms, moorland, oil platforms, the drive home through a blackspot — the moments a lone worker is most exposed are often the moments they have no bars. Vygard is built for exactly that. An SOS still counts with no signal: the alert and last location are saved on the phone and fire automatically the second coverage returns — and where the phone has Emergency SOS via satellite, Vygard points the worker straight into it. It's the phone already in every pocket, not a £200 gadget in a drawer.
Store-and-forward: an SOS raised with no signal is saved with its timestamp and last GPS fix, then delivered the instant a bar returns — logged to the audit ledger, nothing lost.
Newer iPhones and Androids include Emergency SOS via satellite. With no signal, Vygard surfaces it at the critical moment and sends your own alert the instant a bar returns — no extra hardware, no second network.
Teams working truly remote can pair a Garmin inReach or similar satellite communicator. Optional — for most workers the phone is already the safety net.
A dedicated satellite messenger is a £200+ device someone has to remember, charge and press. Vygard rides the phone every worker already carries — automatic, always on, no extra kit to issue or maintain.

Three different sectors, three different value patterns. Each number ties back to a real platform capability — escalation timings come from the actual cascade engine, audit trail comes from the actual append-only event log, tool consolidation comes from the actual feature set you'd replace.
How it works: Web Push to on-shift dispatcher fires in under 1 s; escalation cascade to ARC partner at 60 s if no human ack. Replaces phone-tree call-out.
How it works: Every SOS, check-in, geofence event, and dispatcher action lands in an append-only audit log. PDF export is one click; brokers accept the same export at renewal.
How it works: Permit-to-work register, broadcasts, check-ins, escalation, and audit all in one tenant. Typical legacy tool spend at this size: £15k–£25k/yr that can be retired.
